The Ferrari Luce’s 360 degree parking monitor is equipped with washers for its front and rear cameras, ensuring crystal-clear visibility in any weather condition. Conversely, the Tesla Model Y L only offers a front camera washer, which may not provide the same level of all-weather performance.

The Luce has standard GPS Response System, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. For better traction, the Luce has larger tires than the Model Y L (F:265/35R23 & R:315/30R24 vs. 255/45R19).

The Luce’s 265/35R23 front and 315/30R24 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Model Y L’s standard 45 series tires. The Luce’s tires are lower profile than the Model Y L’s optional 40 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Luce has standard 23-inch front and 24-inch rear wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the Model Y L. The Model Y L’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires optional on the Luce can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Model Y L doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Luce offers an available active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Tesla doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Model Y L.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Luce is 2.4 inches wider in the front and 2.1 inches wider in the rear than on the Model Y L.

For better maneuverability, the Luce’s turning circle is 3 feet tighter than the Model Y L’s (36.8 feet vs. 39.8 feet).

The Luce offers optional massaging front and rear seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the Model Y L.
