Both the Luce and Ariya have child safety locks to prevent children from opening the rear doors. The Luce has power child safety locks, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat and to know when they're engaged. The Ariya’s child locks have to be individually engaged at each rear door with a manual switch. The driver can’t know the status of the locks without opening the doors and checking them.

The Luce has standard post collision braking, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Ariya doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Luce. But it costs extra on the Ariya.

The Ferrari Luce’s 360 degree parking monitor has integrated front and rear camera washers, ensuring clear, all-weather visibility without the need for manual cleaning. In contrast, the Nissan Ariya lacks camera washers, requiring you to manually clean the cameras for optimal performance.

Both the Luce and the Ariya have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front and rear side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, front seat center airbag, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

The Luce comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Ariya’s 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Luce for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Nissan doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Ariya.

The Luce’s electric motors produces 821 more horsepower (1035 vs. 214) and 509 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 221) than the Ariya Engage’s standard electric motor. The Luce’s launch control uses engine electronics to hold engine RPM’s precisely in order to provide the most stable and rapid acceleration possible, using all of the available traction. The Ariya doesn’t offer launch control.

The Luce has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The Ariya doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction, the Luce has larger tires than the Ariya (F:265/35R23 & R:315/30R24 vs. 235/55R19). The Luce’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Ariya (F:265/35R23 & R:315/30R24 vs. 245/45R20).

The Luce’s 265/35R23 front and 315/30R24 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Ariya’s standard 55 series tires. The Luce’s tires are lower profile than the Ariya Platinum+’s optional 45 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Luce has standard 23-inch front and 24-inch rear wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the Ariya. The Ariya’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires optional on the Luce can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Ariya doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Luce offers an available active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Nissan doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Ariya.

The Luce has a standard driver-adjustable suspension system. It allows the driver to choose between an extra-supple ride, reducing fatigue on long trips, or a sport setting, which allows maximum control for tricky roads or off-road. The Ariya’s suspension doesn’t offer adjustable shock absorbers.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Luce’s wheelbase is 7.3 inches longer than on the Ariya (116.6 inches vs. 109.3 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Luce is 2.5 inches wider in the front and 2.1 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the Ariya.

The design of the Ferrari Luce amounts to more than styling. The Luce has an aerodynamic coefficient of drag of .254 Cd. That is significantly lower than the Ariya (.3 to .33) and many sports cars. A more efficient exterior helps keep the interior quieter and helps the Luce get better fuel mileage.

The front grille of the Luce uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The Ariya doesn’t offer active grille shutters.

Pressing a button automatically lowers or raises the Luce’s rear seats, to make changing between cargo and passengers easier. The Ariya doesn’t offer automatic folding seats.

A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the Luce. The Ariya doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.

The Luce has a standard remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The climate system will also automatically heat or cool the interior. The Ariya doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The Luce’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Ariya’s standard intermittent wipers change speed with vehicle speed but can’t turn on and off or change speed based on changing rainfall.

Heated windshield washer fluid is standard on the Luce to defrost the washer nozzles and quickly clear ice and frost from the windshield without scraping. The Ariya doesn’t offer heated windshield washer fluid.

To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the Luce has standard cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The Ariya doesn’t offer cornering lights. The Luce also has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.

The Luce’s standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. The Luce has a 115-volt a/c outlet in the cargo area, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Ariya doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
