The Luce has a standard front seat center airbag, which deploys between the driver and front passenger, protecting them from injuries caused by striking each other in serious side impacts. The Air doesn’t offer front seat center airbags.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Luce. But it costs extra on the Air.

The Ferrari Luce’s 360 degree parking monitor has integrated front and rear camera washers, ensuring clear, all-weather visibility without the need for manual cleaning. In contrast, the Lucid Motors Air lacks camera washers, requiring you to manually clean the cameras for optimal performance.

The Luce has standard GPS Response System, which uses a global positioning satellite (GPS) receiver and a cellular system to send emergency personnel to the scene if any airbags deploy. The Air doesn’t offer a GPS response system, only a navigation computer with no live response for emergencies, so if you’re involved in an accident and you’re incapacitated help may not come as quickly.

Both the Luce and the Air have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, post-collision automatic braking systems, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

The Luce comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Air’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Luce for 5 years and unlimited miles longer than Lucid Motors pays for maintenance for the Air (7/unlimited vs. 2/24,000).

The Luce’s electric motors produces 605 more horsepower (1035 vs. 430) and 324 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 406) than the Air Pure’s standard electric motor. The Luce’s electric motors produces 415 more horsepower (1035 vs. 620) than the Air Touring’s standard electric motors. The Luce’s electric motors produces 216 more horsepower (1035 vs. 819) than the Air Grand Touring’s standard electric motors.

For better traction, the Luce has larger tires than the Air (F:265/35R23 & R:315/30R24 vs. 245/45R19).

The Luce’s 265/35R23 front and 315/30R24 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Air’s standard 45 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Luce has standard 23-inch front and 24-inch rear wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the Air. The Air’s largest wheels are only 21-inches.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires optional on the Luce can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Air doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Luce offers an available active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Lucid Motors doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Air.

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Luce is 1.1 inches wider in the front and .9 inches wider in the rear than on the Air.

For better maneuverability, the Luce’s turning circle is 2.2 feet tighter than the Air’s (36.8 feet vs. 39 feet).

The front grille of the Luce uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The Air doesn’t offer active grille shutters.

The Luce uses computer-generated active noise cancellation to help remove annoying noise and vibration from the passenger compartment, especially at low frequencies. The Air doesn’t offer active noise cancellation.

A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the Luce. The Air doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the Air, the Luce has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position, outside mirror angle, climate settings and radio stations and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

Heated windshield washer fluid is standard on the Luce to defrost the washer nozzles and quickly clear ice and frost from the windshield without scraping. The Air doesn’t offer heated windshield washer fluid.

The Luce’s power mirror controls are mounted on the dash for easy access. The Air’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.

The Luce’s standard rear and side view mirrors have an automatic dimming feature. These mirrors can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on them, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Air has an automatic rear view mirror, but its side mirrors don’t dim.

The Luce has standard front air conditioned seats and offers them optionally in the rear. This keeps the passengers comfortable and takes the sting out of hot seats in summer. The Air doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.

Both the Luce and the Air offer optional massaging front seats. The Luce also offers optional massaging rear seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging rear seats aren’t available in the Air.

The Luce has a 115-volt a/c outlet in the cargo area, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The Air doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
