The Luce has a standard front seat center airbag, which deploys between the driver and front passenger, protecting them from injuries caused by striking each other in serious side impacts. The Lyriq doesn’t offer front seat center airbags.

The Luce has standard post collision braking, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Lyriq doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Luce. But it costs extra on the Lyriq.

The Ferrari Luce’s 360 degree parking monitor is equipped with washers for its front and rear cameras, ensuring crystal-clear visibility in any weather condition. Conversely, the Cadillac Lyriq only offers a rear camera washer, which may not provide the same level of all-weather performance.

Both the Luce and the Lyriq have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

The Luce comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The Lyriq’s 50,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Luce for 7 years and unlimited miles. Ferrari will pay for brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance. Cadillac only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Lyriq.

The Luce’s electric motors produces 670 more horsepower (1035 vs. 365) and 405 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 325) than the Lyriq’s standard electric motor. The Luce’s electric motors produces 520 more horsepower (1035 vs. 515) and 280 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 450) than the Lyriq’s optional electric motors. The Luce’s electric motors produces 420 more horsepower (1035 vs. 615) and 80 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 650) than the Lyriq-V’s optional electric motors.

The Luce has a standard locking charge port, which locks and unlocks with the power locks. The Lyriq doesn’t have a locking charge port. A locking charge port prevents tampering and damage.

For better stopping power the Luce’s brake rotors are larger than those on the Lyriq:

The Luce has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The Lyriq doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction and acceleration, the Luce has larger rear tires than the Lyriq (315/30R24 vs. 265/50R20). The Luce’s rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the Lyriq (315/30R24 vs. 275/40R22).

The Luce’s 265/35R23 front and 315/30R24 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Lyriq’s standard 50 series tires. The Luce’s tires are lower profile than the Lyriq’s optional 40 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Luce has standard 23-inch front and 24-inch rear wheels. Smaller 20-inch wheels are standard on the Lyriq. The Lyriq’s largest wheels are only 22-inches.

The Luce offers an available active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Cadillac doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Lyriq.

For better maneuverability, the Luce’s turning circle is 2.8 feet tighter than the Lyriq’s (36.8 feet vs. 39.6 feet).

The Ferrari Luce may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 600 to 1000 pounds less than the Cadillac Lyriq.

A standard locking glovebox keeps your small valuables safer in the Luce. The Lyriq doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables.

Heated windshield washer fluid is standard on the Luce to defrost the washer nozzles and quickly clear ice and frost from the windshield without scraping. The Lyriq doesn’t offer heated windshield washer fluid.

The Lyriq’s cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The Luce’s standard adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. This lights a significant distance into corners at any speed.

The Luce has standard front air conditioned seats and offers them optionally in the rear. This keeps the passengers comfortable and takes the sting out of hot seats in summer. The Lyriq doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.

Both the Luce and the Lyriq offer available massaging front seats. The Luce also offers optional massaging rear seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging rear seats aren’t available in the Lyriq.
