The Ferrari Luce has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The GV60 doesn’t offer a front passenger side knee airbag.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Luce. But it costs extra on the GV60.

The Ferrari Luce’s 360 degree parking monitor has integrated front and rear camera washers, ensuring clear, all-weather visibility without the need for manual cleaning. In contrast, the Genesis GV60 lacks camera washers, requiring you to manually clean the cameras for optimal performance.

The Luce comes with a full 3-year/unlimited-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire truck and includes free 24-hour roadside assistance. The GV60’s 60,000-mile basic warranty expires sooner.

Ferrari pays for scheduled maintenance on the Luce for 4 years and unlimited miles longer than Genesis pays for maintenance for the GV60 (7/unlimited vs. 3/36,000).

The Luce’s electric motors produces 810 more horsepower (1035 vs. 225) and 472 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 258) than the GV60’s standard electric motor. The Luce’s electric motors produces 721 more horsepower (1035 vs. 314) and 284 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 446) than the GV60’s optional electric motors. The Luce’s electric motors produces 394 more horsepower (1035 vs. 641) and 147 lbs.-ft. more torque (730 vs. 583) than the GV60 Magma’s standard electric motors.

The Luce can travel longer on a full charge than the GV60 Prestige (280 miles vs. 267 miles).

The Luce’s standard front and rear disc brakes are vented to help dissipate heat for shorter stops with less fading. The rear discs standard on the GV60 are solid, not vented.

The Luce has standard heat-treated ceramic brake rotors, which last ten to twenty times as long as conventional cast iron rotors, don’t rust, don’t fade during repeated high speed braking, and their lighter weight contribute to better braking, handling and acceleration. The GV60 doesn’t offer ceramic brake rotors.

For better traction, the Luce has larger tires than the GV60 (F:265/35R23 & R:315/30R24 vs. 235/55R19).

The Luce’s 265/35R23 front and 315/30R24 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 35 series front and 30 series rear profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the GV60’s standard 55 series tires. The Luce’s tires are lower profile than the GV60 Magma’s 40 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Luce has standard 23-inch front and 24-inch rear wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the GV60. The GV60’s largest wheels are only 21-inches.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires optional on the Luce can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The GV60 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Luce offers an available active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Genesis doesn’t offer an active suspension on the GV60.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Luce’s wheelbase is 2.4 inches longer than on the GV60 (116.6 inches vs. 114.2 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Luce is 2.4 inches wider in the front and 2.3 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the GV60.

Pressing a button automatically lowers or raises the Luce’s rear seats, to make changing between cargo and passengers easier. The GV60 doesn’t offer automatic folding seats.

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the GV60 Prestige/Magma, the Luce has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position, outside mirror angle, climate settings and radio stations and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

Heated windshield washer fluid is standard on the Luce to defrost the washer nozzles and quickly clear ice and frost from the windshield without scraping. The GV60 doesn’t offer heated windshield washer fluid.

To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the Luce has standard cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The GV60 doesn’t offer cornering lights. The Luce also has standard adaptive headlights to illuminate around corners automatically by reading vehicle speed and steering wheel angle.

The Luce has standard front air conditioned seats and offers them optionally in the rear. This keeps the passengers comfortable and takes the sting out of hot seats in summer. The GV60 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.

The Luce offers optional massaging front and rear seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the GV60.
